Harley Street was a favourite location for doctors and their families towards the end of the Regency period. The family homes are long gone having been replaced by consulting rooms. Since the beginning of the last century, Harley Street has been associated with many of the most distinguished members of the medical profession, and is now synonymous with medical excellence. Queen Anne Street runs parallel to Wigmore, crossing Harley Street at the south end. Walking up Harley Street from the southern end, take the first turning on the right and Milford House is situated about 30 metres along.
